Nice singing, but I think I know someone who does it better than you or your band teacher…
Lord of the Yum-Yum: Check it.

Frank Chu’s sunglasses are enough to let me know that he is a man who knows the truth and isn’t afraid to speak his mine. That is, the truth about rocket societies, 12 galaxies and space vacations.

That band teacher left a scar… :) Looking forward to seeing more Nick!

Consumatron, props for linking to Lord of the Yum-Yum. The man’s a master.

Nice commentary — look forward to see what you do.
When you moved the camera the motion was blurred. Try increasing the keyframing on the compression tool you use (keyframing detemines how many frames apart before image differences are determined — too far apart and you get a lot of blur.) I use 3ivx myself for compression.

Just a coupla comments:
- The video for me was jerky every few seconds, even when I let it load completely before playing
- Brevity
Looking forward to how this evolves, Nick!

Enric, thanks for the tip, and glad you’re watching!
Brett, sorry ’bout the video, someone else mentioned this problem; I’m on a wonky connection lately but I’ll look into it tomorrow. Maybe I need to use someone other than Blip for vid hosting.

“… and i talk to myself”
brillant, long life to arrogant youth.

Wait, Janine at Blade Runners, per chance? I just went there today for the first time and got her.

Jeannine at Maire Rua. She hasn’t e-mailed. Le sigh.
And yes, everyone, this show was a minute too long. These sounds are much more fun when you’re the one making them.

I think you meant not long enough.
Great job so far. I look forward to more.

Ok peeps, Tuesday’s episode will be up in an hour.
13-Feb-2007 at 11:16 pm
Very amusing! I want to see more. Your glasses are spectacular (lame pun).

Most brilliant! I was way too busy laughing to notice any technical difficulties. Took me back 20 years… “Play-the-notes-stac-ca-to… ti-ti-ti, not thwaaaah thwaaaah thwaaaah!!!” Great show Nick! :)

Must we perpetually battle for funding for PBS? Let’s make the fire department, police department and welfare free market models. That’ll work. The free market can solve any problem. Who needs publicly funded infrastructure or arts for that matter?

Good job on the show man. You style actually reminds me of Ira Glass on This American Life. Keep it up.

I’d buy that collection.
